My Father, My Hero.....

Yesterday was a really hard day. My father has been really sick and the doctors said that there was nothing more they can do for him. He past away peacefully and surrounded by family. It almost doesn't seem real, but it is. I love my father more than anything. We had so many fun times and loved talking about his childhood. I will miss him, but will see him soon!

A lot has happened!!

So, I'm not the best blogger, but I have had a lot going on. My sister has been really sad and worried because her husband was laid off. He had no warning and they didn't even give him a severance package. No fun! Last month I was struggling with a cold or something like it. I'm better now. Knock on wood the girls are doing fine so far!!! Lately we have been spending time in the hospital with my Dad. He has been at Intermountain Medical Center for the last week. He is in the ICU. He has a infection somewhere in his body and the doctors have tried everything to find it but have not had any luck. He is on a vent helping him breath, but he is slowly trying to get off that. I feel so helpless seeing him like this. He keeps trying to talk to us but he either gages or we can't understand him. So pray for him. Any who...... on a lighter note, we put our tree up and have a few gifts under it already. Chloe and Halle LOVE seeing the lights. They call it their Princess Christmas Tree. They are so cute and have grown-up so fast. It seems like you blink and they are walking/running all over. I do love being a Mom. Love all of you!!!

I've been really behind!!!

Sorry it has been so long since I blogged. So many things have happened and I just have not had the time. My father was in the hospital for 4 weeks. He had some problems with his back and could not walk. He has been doing physical therapy to help him walk again. He finally was able to come home last Friday. I'm so proud of him for being strong and determined during this time. The girls have been so full of energy and are excited for Halloween. Chloe is going to be Cinderella and Halle is Tinker Bell.

We did go see the Witches at Gardner Village. Halle was having fun, but Chloe was not into the Witches. They are growing up so fast.

Today, we were watching August Rush and Halle began to dance. Ashley made a video, so here it is.....

I know, I know, it's been a while

So a lot has happened since I last blogged. I started a new job. I work at LDS Hospital in the X-ray/imaging department. I'm the receptionist. It's really interesting and fun so far. A couple of weeks ago Chloe decided that she needed a hair cut and cut most of her hair off. I cried! I had to take her to get it fixed. She looks really cute and knows that little princesses do not play with scissors. With the help of my sister Emily, Halle is starting to potty train. She really loves to wear the big girl underwear.

So there is a funny story behind the pictures attached. We went to Murray park for a picnic. We were having fun and decided that rolling down the hill would be really fun!!!! WRONG!!!! I'm OLD....... I went down the hill and then everything came right up!!! Yup.. I got really sick and was ill the rest of the night. Chloe told me that I can't do that again. DUH! So have a good laugh at my expense. Love all!
